Come take part of a community event to clear up Clear Creek, every Saturday and Sunday in February 2009 from 8:00 AM to 2 PM.
At the FM 270 Boat Ramp. The FM 270 Boat Ramp is located under the Clear Creek Bridge on Hwy 270 between Nasa Parkway and Hwy 518.Participants will gather trash along the shorelines and need to be prepared on how to dress for the day.
This effort covers 26 miles of shoreline from Kemah to Friendswood. This is considered one of the biggest clean-up efforts by 1000's of volunteer collecting tons of trash and restoring marsh land brining the 600 bird species back here at different times of the year.
