Black Friday GPS Deal!

I have been showing some off the beaten path property lately which has made me think that I really should invest in a GPS system.  Looking around online I about fall off of my chair every time that I look at the prices of them.  WOW!

However, this time of year one of my favorite websites is the Black Friday Ads Website.  They already have the adscans for about half of the stores and will be posting more within the next week.  I went on to see if any stores would have some good deals the Friday after Thanksgiving...and would you believe...

Circuit City will have a Mio C220 for $99 ?!?!?!   Mio also has a software for Speed Cameras!

I think I may head out to get one of these...it's not an Early Bird deal or Mail In Rebate.  Even Better!   Any of you thinking you may want an affordable GPS System for your car,  Black Friday may be the day to get one.   Circuit City, Best Buy, Costco, Radio Shack and well, just about every store has some GPS Systems 50% off that day.  Now,  which ones have pre-loaded maps?

I just bought a Tom Tom and it has all the maps pre loaded. I just got it so I can't recommend it yet.

According to this website Mio has preloaded maps for the 50 states.

Hey Mary,  only for an AWESOME deal.   :)   The year before lasy I save over $500 on Black Friday...that was worth it.   That's why I check out the BF site...to see if it is worth it.

Stephanie--You are such a brave soul! I used to get up early for the sales but now sleep in and shop on-line unless there is something very special. :) Thanks for the link....I can see if I am sleeping in or going out before I eat turkey!

Hey Teri,  most of the stores start their sales online at midnight that Friday.   Check out the BF site...it tells you which one.  It has to be a really good deal for me to get up early...this one I would not have to...

I just bought an HP Ipaq 5900.  It's a pda and gps all in one.  The gps is tom-tom.  A little pricey, but it's got everything I need.

Looks like a site to check out.  I had not heard about this site or black fridays.  It looks like they are getting a lot of cease and desist orders from various stores however.

For those who already own this type of device  - do you notice deviances? Do they work better in the city than the county? Any problems?

I would not want to be in the crowd shopping on Black Friday.  I hate to shop now but when I was younger, I lived to shop.  Now I think if I can't buy it online, I don't need it.....how the computer has changed our thinking and the way we do ordinary thing.  But I already have a GPS...so don't need another.  Good post.

I have seen these prices dropping drastically but wondered if they are as good as the more expensive ones.  My wife has mentioned on a few times and her birthday coming up, was hoping you'd have a review so I wouldn't have to do any research.
